About the firm
Claven Burdess Lawyers is a law firm primarily focusing on personal injury law. As directors and lead lawyers of the firm, Peter and Michael combine for over 36 years of personal injury legal expertise. After spending many years at a large personal injury law firm, they founded Claven Burdess Lawyers in 2021.
Michael commenced legal practice in 2006 at a large personal injury law firm, Peter commencing with the same firm a year later. Both Peter and Michael worked extensively in the personal injuries area including WorkCover, TAC, public liability and product liability claims.
They also worked in the employment law field, which was invaluable to their injuries practice and allowed them to provide a better service to the workers they represented.
Amanda Lambert joined the firm in 2025 and works as a lawyer in our personal injury and employment law departments. All of our lawyers are assisted by our friendly and efficient support team.
We understand that people can be worried about seeing a lawyer or the fees that might be involved. We offer what we believe to be one of Victoria’s best no win no fee arrangements for injured Victorians.
Many personal injury firms will only represent injured people if they have a ‘common law’ claim. We assist injured people with all of their potential entitlements.
Claven Burdess Lawyers are headquartered at 88 Liebig Street, Warrnambool. They also offer in-person appointments at their Ararat office at 3/56 High Street, as well as in Colac and in Melbourne and regularly represent people from those areas.
